This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issu ed. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to: Trusted Computer Solutions, Inc., Herndon, VA for the procurement of Secure Office Workstation Software, Interconnecting Group ON-579/FSO-209(V): Communications Interface Segment, Cross Domain Solution - DoDIIS Trusted Workstation. Trusted Computer Solutions, Inc. is deemed the sole designer, manufacturer a nd distributor of this workstation. INTENTION: Award the above stated requirement directly to Trusted Computer Solutions, Inc. The supplies/services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of F AR 13.106(b)(1). Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. DURATION: Delivery to be made by no later than 6 September 2006. All quotations received within 6 days after date of publi cation of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
