The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) intends to enter into a contract with a single contractor for the provision of scheduled and ad-hoc secure shredding services, on an ‘’as and when requested’’ basis, for its large volumes of sensitive paper material. The CRA has approximately fifty locations across Canada that require secure shredding services. The type of service required, volumes of sensitive material and the frequency of service varies from location to location. The contractor will not have access inside CRA premises. The Contractor must collect the containers from the loading dock or other loading area approved by the CRA for all locations listed under Appendix 1 to Annex A: CRA Locations of the bid solicitation document. The period of any resulting contract will be for two years with five irrevocable options to extend the contract of one-year each. A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bids meeting all mandatory evaluation will be evaluated and scored in accordance with the point-rated criteria. Prices submitted will be evaluated to determine the bid evaluation price. The responsive bid with the highest combined rating of technical merit and price will proceed with the conditions precedent to contract award. The Bidder with the highest ranked responsive bid and meeting all the requirements will be recommended for award of a contract. Questions must be directed in writing to the contracting authority via email: marie-claude.lepage@cra-arc.gc.ca. Bids must be submitted by using the Connect service provided by the Canada Post Corporation. When responding, the proposal MUST be delivered to: Canada Revenue Agency Bid Receiving Unit BRUg@cra-arc.gc.ca Bids will not be accepted if emailed directly to this email address. This email address must be used to request that CRA open a Connect conversation, as detailed in Standard Instructions 2003. Bidders must not use their own licensing agreement for Connect to initiate a Connect conversation with CRA. There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult the bid solicitation document. The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement. Solicitation # 1000566272
The Canada Revenue Agency is seeking a single Canadian contractor to provide a secure, browser- and app-based software as a service portal for its Corporate Secretariat, supporting up to forty active users. This portal will serve as a centralized digital repository for Board of Management documents and communications, enabling secure upload, storage, viewing, searching, printing, sharing, downloading, editing, and annotating of materials. It will be used by the CRA, its Board of Management, and other designated external committees to facilitate efficient preparation for meetings. The contract will be for an initial one-year term from the date of award, with options to extend for up to six additional one-year periods under the same terms. The solution must meet all mandatory security and functional requirements outlined in the solicitation, and bidders must comply with all specified technical and procedural conditions. Only Canadian suppliers or those from applicable trading partner countries are eligible to bid, and proposals must be submitted exclusively through the Canada Post Corporation’s Connect service; direct emailed submissions will not be accepted. All documentation must be in English or French and must adhere to the mandatory evaluation criteria outlined in the bid solicitation. The lowest-priced responsive bid will be recommended for award, provided all pre-award conditions are satisfied. Requests for clarification must be sent in writing to Marie-Claude Lepage at the specified email address, and the deadline for submissions is September 9, 2026.
