AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Government is seeking competitive proposals for a fully furnished, modern office space in Salt Lake City or West Valley City, Utah, to support law enforcement operations. The lease will span ten years with a five-year firm commitment, and the space must meet specific size requirements, ranging from 6,750 to 9,001 square feet of usable area, with the possibility of accepting non-contiguous suites limited to three or four within a single building if necessary. The space must be contiguous if available, located at or above ground level, and include essential features such as 30-45 private offices, a conference room of at least 300 square feet, a dedicated server room with 24/7 cooling, and secure entry points supporting cipher lock hardware. Security is a priority, with a minimum Facility Security Level II required, and the space must be delivered fully furnished with professional-grade furnishings, including systems furniture, office furnishings, conference tables, and storage, with no expectation for tenant improvements or capital amortization. Offers are to be submitted during a designated open period from October 21 to October 29, 2025, via the GSA Leasing Portal, with initial submissions limited to a scaled floorplan, ownership authorization (if applicable), and a marketing package demonstrating the furnished and finished condition of the space. The evaluation will prioritize the lowest-priced, technically acceptable proposals based on the as-is condition, with the government reserving the right to adjust lease terms if necessary to meet mission requirements. Compliance with federal regulations, including Section 889 of the FY19 NDAA, and prompt SAM registration are mandatory. The contract emphasizes that the space must be suitable for professional law enforcement support, and offers will be considered only during the specified open period, with the possibility of selecting acceptable alternative spaces if exact requirements cannot be met.
