AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, plans to extend an existing contract with SES Electrical LLC for the lease of a modular facility at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. This extension is necessary due to ongoing delays in reconstruction efforts resulting from Hurricane Michael. The initial contract, awarded as a sole source procurement under the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program, ensures that the current tenant remains housed in the facility until construction is complete or a new contractor is selected. This continuity is critical for supporting military construction projects at the base and preventing project delays that could arise from any disruption in facility use. The notice invites interested parties to submit statements of their capability to meet the Government’s requirements by the afternoon of October 29, 2025, though this is not a competitive solicitation. Submissions must demonstrate experience and capacity to fulfill the lease without incurring extra costs or delays, detailing business size, ability to self-perform, subcontracting layers, and specific expertise. All responses must be concise, limited to three pages, and submitted via email to the designated contract specialists; telephone, mail, or fax responses will not be accepted. The Government retains discretion on whether to open the opportunity for competitive proposals based on the qualifications received.

Full Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District (CESAM) intends to extend contract no. W9127820C0043 to continue the lease of a modular facility at Tyndall Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, due to construction delays as part of the Hurricane Michael recovery effort. The contractor is SES Electrical LLC, 10101 Global Way, Knoxville, TN, 37932. The contract was awarded as a sole source under the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development (BD) Program. The Government will support the proposed action by written justification and obtain appropriate approval prior to proceeding.

Should your firm desire to submit a capability statement, it should demonstrate the Offeror’s experience and expertise to provide the services identified above within the time frame required and without substantial duplication of cost to the Government.
