Full Description

Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Code 410B Procurement intends to award a Sole Source contract to Engineered Coil Company doing business as DRS Marlo Coil to provide one (1) 7.5 Ton, Self-Contained Air Conditioner, and one (1) 3.0 Ton, Self-Contained Air Conditioner, both in compliance with the 2015 Clean Air Act. The requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333415, and the business size standard is 1,250. Engineered Coil Company doing business as DRS Marlo Coil is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The 7.5 Ton Self-Contained Air Conditioner and 3.0 Ton Self-Contained Air Conditioner is protected by DRS Marlo Coil's owned US patents and company trade secrets. There is no other vendor able to provide similar requirement. This special notice of intent is neither a request nor a solicitation of offers; however, all information received within 15 days after date of publication of this special notice will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clean and concise documentation indicating a vendor's bona fide capability to provide this product or equivalency. Requests must include company name, address, telephone number of the requester, e-mail address, CAGE code and business size. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided. All information should be delivered via e-mail to contact@example.gov, no later than 1100 PST, January 18, 2018. Information delivered by other than e-mail will not be accepted. Certifications in the System for Acquisition Management (https://sam.gov) must be current and active to be eligible for contract award.
