The Tishomingo County Board of Supervisors is soliciting separate and sealed bids for the construction of the 2026 Multimodal Railroad Siding Extension in Mississippi. The project scope includes mobilization, clearing and grubbing of one acre, 1,400 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 6,000 cubic yards of excess excavation, 470 tons of sub-ballast, 490 tons of ballast, and 600 feet of trackage. Bids must be submitted to the Board Room at the Tishomingo County Courthouse in Iuka, Mississippi, by 9:00 A.M. local time on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Award of the contract will be granted to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. To be eligible, bidders must be on the official Planholders list maintained by Plan House Printing and must provide bid security in the specified amount and form. Conditional or qualified bids are not acceptable, and bidders are prohibited from withdrawing their bids within 60 days of the opening date. The successful contractor will be required to furnish surety bonds upon delivery of the executed contract and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing the project.
