Septic Pump Station Repairs

The Maryland Historical Trust, through the Department of Planning, has issued an Invitation for Bids (FM27-10) for the repair of a septic pump station located near the MAC Lab at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum in Saint Leonard, Maryland. This firm fixed-price contract requires the selected firm to provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to replace corroded pipes, valves, pump bases, flanges, and the exhaust fan motor and rails. The project must be completed within 120 days of the contract award, with a specific performance period of less than 100 calendar days from the date of award. Contractors are responsible for coordinating all septic system shutdowns with the museum and relevant stakeholders. To be considered for award, offerors must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting held on September 15, 2026; failure to attend will result in a non-responsive bid. Completed bids, including the required Invitation for Bid form, Bid/Proposal Affidavit, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, and a reference form detailing three prior projects, must be submitted via email no later than 3:00 pm on September 30, 2026. Preference in the selection process is given to Certified Small Business Enterprises, including those with Small Business Reserve or Small Business Preference certifications, as well as Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprises. Additionally, contractors must provide proof of manufacturer training for specified equipment and submit current insurance certificates naming the Maryland Historical Trust as the certificate holder.
