Full Description

Fort Belvoir Community Hospital has a requirement to provide maintenance and service support to the Scriptpro Equipment provided by Scriptpro USA, Inc. The products and service being requested is to provide Operation and Maintenance, for the Maintenance replacement software updates to equipment used by the Pharmacy Department. The Government intends to procure this maintenance contract on a sole source basis from Scriptpro USA, Inc. The preliminary market research indicates that, as the manufacturer of the system, only Scriptpro USA, Inc. can provide the specific service required because only this company possesses the proprietary software and firmware, replacement parts, troubleshooting equipment/capabilities, factory trained certified technicians, and proprietary tools and processes required to repair/maintain the equipment. Scriptpro USA, Inc. The system is unique and requires certified technicians and licensing to perform required maintenance, no other vendor can be utilized as this would void the warranty of the equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations and a solicitation will not be issued. Prospective offerors are advised that because there are no other known sources, the agency has authorized the procurement of these services under other than full and open competition under FAR 6.3. However, interested responsible sources may submit a capability statement for the agency's consideration in determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted in the future for this service. A copy of the Justification and Approval will be posted no later than 14 days after award.
