Notice Information Solicitation: 951700-21-R-0005 Agency/Office: U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) Office of Contracts Title: NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE � Purchase of labor service to install materials that are under warranty, equipment, for 17 blower assembly components. Description(s): THIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S Agency for Global Media intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to: Trademasters 7208 Lockport Place, Lorton, VA 22079 The USAGM has a requirement to service blowers located on the second floor of the Cohen Building. Those blowers were originally purchased with a warranty, but no labor service agreement was initially setup for those components for the lifetime of the warranty. The Government discovered that it had additional rights to a five (5) years warranty directly from the manufacturer, which unfortunately will only honor this extended warranty only and only from the original vendor which installed this equipment. The service will mainly consists to: 1) Disassembly and further troubleshooting of identified 17 units. 2) Provide 5 year warranty covered parts on LG wall units. 3) Install the LG provided bearings and drive motors covered under product warranty on seventeen (17) LG Wall Units 4) Vendor to summit and deliver warranty claim information to the COR received from distributor / representative. 5) Start & Operate for verification of the repairs to the governments satisfaction at the 17 units locations. The Period of Performance for this Purchase Order will be for 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. No substitution of this service can be accepted. This is a commercial item that will be acquired under FAR Part 12/13 procedures. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit documentation that clearly demonstrates their capability. Responses to this notice shall be received by 17 December 2020 at 12:00 pm EST. All responses must be in writing only via email to the point of contacts specified in this notice. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
