NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED This Sources Sought Announcement is in support of market research to determine feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources. The Contractor, as an Independent Contractor, and not as an agent or employee of the Government, shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul for the following: Nomenclature: Servocylinder Weapon System: CH-47 Chinook Input/Output NSN: 1680-01-120-7642 Input/Output P/N: 145CS114-1 Estimated Quantity Range: 25 minimum - 540 maximum The applicable North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336413 is and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The Servocylinder is a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and must be overhauled by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or other approved sources. Therefore, the requirement is restricted to The Boeing Company (CAGE Code: 77272) and Honeywell Intl Inc. Engines and System Environment Control Systems ECS (CAGE Code: 70210). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance to with the AMCOM Maintenance and Overhaul SAR Guidance. The solicitation will not close prior to the date stated on the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be constructed as a commitment by the Government for any purposes. This announcement does not constitute a RFP.
