Setting Water and Sewer Rates

The Clearlake Oaks County Water District has adopted Resolution No. 26-08 to establish updated water and sewer rates for a five-year period covering fiscal years 2026-27 through 2030-31. This action is designed to ensure the District can fund day-to-day operations and maintenance, meet financial reserve requirements, purchase or lease necessary equipment and supplies, and finance capital projects required to maintain service within its existing service areas. The rate setting process was conducted in accordance with Government Code Section 53756 and includes a CEQA Ministerial Exemption. The implementation of these rates is supported by comprehensive water and sewer rate studies, a Proposition 218 Notice, and a formal five-year schedule of charges. These rates apply to all parcels and customers receiving water or sewer services from the District in California, specifically within the 95423 zip code area. Billing for the new rates will commence with the first regular billing cycle following the application date. The process was finalized on August 11, 2026, under the direction of General Manager Dianna Mann.
