The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a solicitation to Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training (LM MST) of Liverpool, NY for a procurement, on a sole-source basis, for Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) Block 2 FY14/15 Engineering Support Services. The anticipated solicitation will include the following: Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee CLINs for engineering services in support of Engineering Development Models (EDMs) and Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) units and an option cost-only CLIN for travel in support of the engineering services. SEWIP Block 2 will greatly improve the receiver/antenna group necessary to keep capabilities current with the pace of the threat and to yield improved system integration. Disclaimer: The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
