The U.S. Army Contracting Command - APG, Natick Contracting Division plans to issue a solicitation for up to two multiple award firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts, each with a five-year ordering period, to Stark Aerospace and L-3 Wescam. These contracts will support the Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System (TUAS) by providing Laser Designator Rangefinder (LDRF) payloads for the Shadow RQ-7B. The overall maximum value of these contracts is $82 million over five years. The procurement is restricted to these two qualified sources under FAR Subpart 6.302-1, reflecting that no other supplies or services can meet the agency’s requirements. This is a presolicitation notice and not a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), which will be posted subsequently on the Natick Contracting Division website. Proposals will be due within 15 days of the RFP release. Interested parties can direct inquiries only via email to the designated contract specialist and contracting officer. The contract falls under NAICS code 333316, covering Photographic and Photocopying Equipment Manufacturing. No reimbursement will be provided for proposal preparation costs.
