Shared Services Canada is seeking bids for network equipment under solicitation BPM025974/33984 to support a Department of National Defence test laboratory at Bentley, Ontario, with delivery to SSC – Wills Transfer Ltd in Ottawa. The requirement includes the procurement of two Layer 3 switches, two Gateway Routers, and five Edge Routers, all adhering to strict technical specifications outlined in Appendix A, such as sustained 1 Gbps throughput, non-blocking 10 Gbps switching capacity, 24 x 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, two or four SFP+ optical ports, layered switching with static and dynamic routing, support for up to 256 VLANs and 16 VRFs, hardware-based QoS with DSCP marking, and certification compatibility with DND/PKI and NIST standard post-quantum cryptography.
