SHCU 27-7 (03721599) Rework

Signal Hill Petroleum, Inc (“SHP”) proposes to investigate and repair well SHCU 27-7. This project will require a workover rig and vendor equipment to investigate and repair possible casing damage between 2890’ and 2981’ in accordance with current regulatory standards. No vegetation will be disturbed. No environmental impact is expected. The existing well site can accommodate the rig, staging of materials, other equipment, and worker parking. The work process is expected to require approximately 2 weeks in total. The project’s temporary equipment includes a rig and various vehicles to transport personnel, materials, mobilize and demobilize equipment and transport waste. Rig and associated equipment will be transported to the site via public and/or private roadways in a manner that ensures the safety of the public and protection of the environment. The rig and all ancillary and transportation equipment will be fully compliant with air quality regulations. SHP’s rig fleet and service vehicles are in full compliance with CARB and South Coast AQMD requirements. Additionally, vehicles participate in the California Highway Patrol BITs program.
