This procurement specifies aluminum alloy sheet metal measuring 0.063 inches thick, 48 inches wide, and 144 inches long, with a referenced weight of 42.24 pounds per sheet. The material must conform strictly to the dimensions stated, with no tolerance for test coupons or deviations in length—only whole-foot lengths are acceptable. It must be manufactured from Alloy 5052 in temper H24 or H34, in accordance with ASTM B666/B666M-20, SAE AMS-QQ-A-250/8C, and ASTM B660-23 standards. Every shipment requires a Certificate of Quality Compliance, which must accompany the product and be forwarded to the DLA Troop Support Contracting Officer. Continuous identification markings are mandatory on each unit, including the DLA delivery order number, NSN, specification revision, alloy and temper designation, manufacturer’s name, heat and lot number, and exact dimensions. Markings must be applied via stamping or stenciling, be legible to the unaided eye, waterproof, and non-contaminating; adhesive labels are required in place of line markings. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA packaging requirements, with preservation and marking following ASTM B660 and B666 guidelines where applicable, and all markings must adhere to MIL-STD-129. The product is to be delivered FOB origin in quantities of 69 sheets to Hill AFB, Utah, within 50 days of award, with zero variance permitted. Only suppliers listed on the Qualified Suppliers List for Distributors (QSLD) are eligible, and any deviation must be explicitly declared; non-compliant submissions may incur criminal penalties.
