This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. This sources sought synopsis is in support of market research to being conducted by the General Services Administration to identify 8(a) contractor(s) to perform Janitorial and Related Services at the following facility: Social Security Administration 606 North 9th Street, Sheboygan, WI. For the anticipated 7 month period of June 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015. NOTE: The total anticipated value for this need is less than $10,000 for the 7 month period. The Government will use the information obtained from this sources sought to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The resulting solicitation for these services will be procured under North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code 561720. The general nature and intent of the work to be performed will include custodial building services, policing of the grounds for trash and maintenance items, and snow removal. Interested parties shall submit the attached questionnaire via email to the procurement Contracting Officer, Brian Weiss at brian.weiss@gsa.gov Interested Parties shall respond no later than 4:00 p.m. Central Time on March 23, 2015. Please note, in the event the solicitation is procured under the 8(a) program the awarded contractor will be subject to FAR 52.21914 Limitations on Subcontracting, such that at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended by employees of the contractor. NOTE: This need is anticipated as a 8(a) set-aside. FBO does not have an option for this particular set-aside to be listed. As such, "Competitive 8(a)" is notated as this is considered the closest value available to be input in that field. Competitive sourcing within the 8(a) program is not anticipated at this time.
