Site Preparation and Land Clearing

This subcontract for Site Preparation and Land Clearing supports the Oceano Community Services District water system consolidation projects in California. The selected contractor is responsible for performing grubbing and land clearing to deliver a cleared project corridor, which includes the removal of vegetation. A critical component of the work involves adhering to BIO-1 mitigation measures by using orange construction fencing to delineate silver dune lupine habitats and monarch butterfly overwintering sites. Additionally, the contractor must obtain biologist approval before removing any native vegetation with a diameter at breast height greater than four inches.
