Full Description

This is a special notice, not a request for either a quote, proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to obtain industry comments and knowledge only for the purpose of assessing the availability of qualified sources. The 5th Contracting Squadron, Minot AFB ND is seeking sources for the purchase of Skid Car System and Training. The NAICS code is 611692 Automobile Driving Schools. This procurement is set aside for small business. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The contractor would be responsible for providing Type C Skid Car System and Training or approved equal. Descriptions of requirements for items to be acquired are as follows: CLIN 0001 - SkidCar System type "C" or approved equal (1 each) for light ambulances or heavy High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled (HMMWV) vehicle not exceed 10000 lbs. Must be able to be used with AM Generals M1116 HMMWV. CLIN 0002 - SkidCar System authored or approved equal Power Point Classroom Presentation(s), Installation to vehicle and instructor training for up to eight (8) students and maintenance instruction for up to four (4) 5th LRS vehicle mechanics.
