Remove deteriorated concrete surface of hammer heads, clean and replace deteriorated reinforcement, attach galvanic strip anodes to the rebars to mitigate corrosion, reinstate the hammer head concrete surface. Remove deteriorated concrete from the two pier columns, clean existing reinforcement and install new reinforcing bars dowelled in the new concrete, attach continuous vertical galvanic strip anodes to the rebars and install new concrete overbuild.
