Small Business Event Vendor Outreach Session for November 2017

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), will be hosting a Vendor Outreach Session (VOS) located in Washington, DC, on November 16, 2017, from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm. The VOS will be held at Homeland Security Acquisition Institute (HSAI) located at 90 K Street NE, Suite 1200, Washington, DC 20002. Vendor Outreach Sessions are a series of pre-arranged 15-minute appointments with Small Business Specialists from various components of the Homeland Security procurement offices. These sessions provide the small business community an opportunity to discuss their capabilities and learn of potential procurement opportunities. Also in attendance will be Prime Contractor Small Business Liaisons from several of the large businesses who have contracts with DHS. There is no cost to the small business vendors. NOTE: This session is reserved for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses ONLY in honor of Veterans Day. There are also several hotels close to HSAI. To enter the 90 K Street N.E. building, you must have a federal government employee identification card OR a current government issued photo ID card (driver's license or state issued ID). The name(s) of all VOS attendees will be submitted to building security 48 hours prior to VOS, therefore last-minute substitutes will not be permitted. All items entering the building may be subject to scanning and search as applicable. In the event the Office of Personnel management (OPM) issues the Federal Government a delayed opening of 2 hours or more or the Government is closed in the Washington, D.C.
