The 179th CW/MSC in Mansfield, Ohio is conducting a market survey to identify commercial vendors capable of supplying an ultra-compact, high-performance Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Platform Development Kit (PDK) for rapid prototyping of electronic warfare payloads. The requirement specifically seeks the Epiq Solutions X40 SDR Transceiver and PDK or a technically equivalent alternative that fits within an M.2 card form factor, supports an 18 GHz tuning range and 450 MHz instantaneous bandwidth, and includes a native 4R1T MIMO configuration. The PDK must deliver a ready-to-use development environment with a carrier board, pre-configured Linux OS, and FPGA source code based on the ZU11 architecture or equivalent, enabling immediate software development without custom hardware fabrication or reverse engineering. Interested parties must submit a capability statement of no more than five pages, clearly identifying whether they fall under Category A as an authorized reseller of Epiq Solutions products or Category B as a provider of an alternative equivalent solution. Category A responders must provide proof of authorized distribution rights along with their company details, CAGE code, UEI, and socio-economic status. Category B respondents must submit technical documentation proving compliance with all key specifications and detailed responses addressing integration readiness, including carrier board availability, FPGA software support, and a timeline for transitioning electronic warfare software onto their platform.
