SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE

NON-COMPETITIVE SYNOPSIS ***PLEASE COORDINATE WITH SHARON D. CROWDER FOR ANY TECHNICAL QUESTIONS OR TO SUBMIT CAPABILITIES TO SHARON.D.CROWDER@NASA.GOV *** NASA/MSFC has a requirement for the software maintenance on the fourteen (14) existing licenses. . NASA/MSFC intends to purchase this requirement from JMSI, Inc. who is doing business as (DBA) Intelligent Light on a sole source basis. Intelligent Light is the developer and distributor to NASA/MSFC of the proprietary software that has been in existence at Marshall Space Flight Center for several years. Intelligent Light is the only means for providing the Fieldview Software support and maintenance. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4/1/2016 by 4:00 p.m. CST. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
