St. Lucie South Jetty Repair Industry Day
Solicitation # W912EP27Z1CUE
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, is seeking industry information for the rehabilitation of the South Jetty head structure at St. Lucie Inlet in Martin County, Florida. This effort is for a fiscal year 2027 award under NAICS code 237990, with a target price range between 25 million and 50 million dollars and an estimated period of performance of 730 calendar days. The project focuses on the seaward-most 400 to 500 feet of the jetty to address armor stone instability and deterioration. Key technical requirements include excavating bed material to install a widened marine mattress foundation of approximately 36,200 square feet, placing 9- to 15-ton toe protection and armor stones, and removing existing asphalt walkways. The project will be executed as a firm-fixed-price contract and involves significant environmental considerations, including the protection of ESA-listed species and the implementation of turbidity control measures. Construction is permitted year-round during daylight hours, though specific restrictions apply during turtle and shorebird nesting seasons. Contractors must manage site access and staging areas, ensuring all disturbed areas and native vegetation are restored to pre-construction conditions.
