Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane intends to issue a Job Order (JO) under a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00164-16-G-JT08. The basis for restricting competition was the lack of level III technical data to support a full and open competition of the AN/DPX-7 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Reduced Sized Transponder (RST), duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. As a result of this JO the overall contract ceiling for BOA N00164-16-G-JT08 will remain unchanged. Inspection and acceptance is anticipated be at destination by Government representative at the ship to address. Request for proposal will not be made available through http://www.fbo.gov The request for proposal will be provided to BAE Systems through electronic mail. The proposed noncompetitive contract action is anticipated to be awarded under FAR part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The anticipated contract action award date is 14 Sept 2018.
