Acquisitions under the BOA have been and will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The BOA was synopsized on 26 April 2016 with no responses received. As a result of this JO, the overall contract ceiling for BOA N00164-16-G-JQ69 will remain unchanged. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Commercial and Government entity, 1005 subcontracted to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) L-3 Communication Wescam. Request for proposal will not be made available through http://www.fbo.gov. The request for proposal will be provided to L-3 Wescam through electronic mail. The proposed noncompetitive contract action is anticipated to be awarded under FAR part 15, contracting by negotiations. The anticipated contract action award date is 9 MAR 2017. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact L-3 Communication WescamTM, 649 North Service Road, Burlington, Ontario, 3AC24 directly.
