Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Vision Audio and Video LLC, doing business as “Signal “Safeguard?. The agency’s requirement is for the purchase of 7 each Ped Cabinets. Specifications include 1EEE-299 RF Testing with results of 70db up to 105db from 30Mhz-18Ghz. Approximate size of 12?x12?x8? Shielded Ped Cell phone enclosure, built in mounting posts for securing unit to shelf or table base. The proposed contract action is for Ped Cabinets for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements?. The required products and services are manufactured/distributed by Vision Audio and Video LLC, doing business as Signal Safeguard. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
