SPECIAL NOTICE: The United State Coast Guard, Great Lakes District Regional Support Team (RST) intends to award one (1) sole source purchase order on a basis of other than full and open competition (under FAR authority 13.106-1(b)(1)) to Griffin International LLC for supply and delivery of fan coil units to Coast Guard Station Tawas per scope of work (SOW).


This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000.


This sole source is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) implemented by the FAR Subpart 6.302-1 entitled “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”.


The NAICS Code for this procurement is 33341 - Ventilation, Heating, Air-Conditioning, and Commercial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing. The PSC for this procurement is 4120 - Air Conditioning Equipment. The procurement type will be a firm-fixed price.
