Attachment 4: Site Pictures, 12 Jul 2021 Attachment 5: Pictures of Demolish works Attachment 6: Site map location SYNOPSIS: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Transatlantic Expeditionary District (TAE) issues this Solicitation Notice for a firm-fixed price (FFP) design-bid-build (DBB) construction contract. The Request for Proposal is Full and Open Competition (Unrestricted) and will result in award of one DBB contract for KAZCENT CONFERENCE CENTER located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this acquisition is to build a prefabricated metal training facility for Kazakhstan (KZ) that will be used as a regional platform for training with other Central Asian States (CAS). The facility will be a large conference room that can be divided into three (3) smaller rooms with movable wall panels. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: The magnitude of construction projects is anticipated to be between $1M and $5M NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS): 236220- Industrial Building Construction with a size standard of $39.5M. PROJECT SERVICE CODES (PSC): Y1JZ - Construction of Miscellaneous Buildings. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Construction duration is approximately 270 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. SITE VISIT: There is no Government Scheduled site visit anticipated for this solicitation requirement. REGISTRATION / SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Failure to have an active and completed registration in SAM at the time of proposal submission may determine an offeror's proposal as non-responsive and may be removed from competition. Information contained within an offeror's registration must be current and valid.
