Full Description

The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners is requesting qualifications from qualified Consultant firms with experience in Solid Waste Engineering, Environmental, and Planning Services. The selected firm(s) shall serve as the Putnam County Solid Waste consultant(s) for a five (5) year period with two (2) two-year extensions. Multiple firms may be selected.
The firm(s) selected must demonstrate expertise in the following areas: Solid Waste Landfill Design, Expansion, Permitting & Construction Management Closure Design, Permitting and Construction Management Development of Solid Waste Master Plans Design, Permitting & Construction Management to Retro-fit Existing Facilities Compliance Monitoring Sampling & Reporting Contamination Evaluation & Remediation Solid Waste Accounting Services Design, Permitting & Construction of Recycling Facilities Leachate Collection, Treatment & Disposal Landfill Gas System Services, Sampling & Reporting
Services to be performed may include: solid waste planning, design of solid waste facilities, surveying, subsurface investigation, materials testing, construction administration/resident inspection, environmental evaluations, economic evaluations helping the County implement an exclusive commercial franchise system, and other advisory services as requested.
