The information gathered from market research will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Solid Waste Disposal Services for the Metropolitan Detention Center (hereinafter referred to as MDC) located in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The contractor will provide Solid Waste Disposal Services in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract year shall consist of a 12 month base year with four 12 month option years for renewal. The estimated quantity for the base year and each option year is listed below: Line Item 1: 30 Yard Open-Top Construction Dumpster 1a. Monthly Rental Fee = 12 Mo. 1b. Haul Rate/Pull Fee = 104 Pull Line Item 2: Two (2) 40 Yard Open-Top Construction Dumpster 2a. Monthly Rental Fee = 12 Mo. 2b. Haul Rate/Pull Fee = 104 Pull Line Item 3: Yardage 3a. Landfill Disposal Tipping Fees = 1800 Tons Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement.
