THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Solid Waste Removal Services. The service will encompass supplying rental of dumpsters, hauling and disposal of solid waste from the Metropolitan Detention Center, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The requirement is as follows: Rental of one 36 Cubic Yard enclosed compactor with pulls to be accomplished on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week at 7:00 a.m., Rental of one 40 Cubic Yard open top roll-off construction dumpster to be pulled approximately twice per month and a 40 Cubic Yard enclosed cardboard compactor to be pulled approximately twice per month. Removal and disposal will be in accordance with all Federal, local and Commonwealth guidelines. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562111 (Size Standard: $38.5 million). The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a base period from the effective date of award through 12 months, with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition.
