Sonoma County 2026 Pavement Preservation Program - Bloomfield Area Roads

Sonoma County’s 2026 Pavement Preservation Program targets the Bloomfield area for the rehabilitation of 2.05 miles of roadway through asphalt concrete overlays designed to extend pavement life and enhance overall road conditions. The project encompasses ten specific road segments within the area, all of which will undergo preparation, paving, and striping exclusively within existing public rights-of-way. No guardrail replacement is planned as none currently exist on these roads. Construction activities will utilize standard equipment including excavators, pavers, compactors, graders, and backhoes, with all staging and parking confined to paved or stabilized shoulder areas within the right-of-way, ensuring no intrusion onto private property. Work will remain strictly within the current road boundaries, minimizing environmental and property impacts. Traffic control measures will be implemented throughout construction to ensure continued vehicular access and reduce disruptions to the public. The project is fully contained within existing infrastructure, with no new road expansion or significant alterations to the right-of-way.
