Sources Sought-Acquisition of two wireless fiber p

This is a Sources Sought notice issued by the National Institutes of Health’s Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations under the Department of Health and Human Services to gather market information on the availability of qualified vendors capable of providing two wireless fiber photometry systems. The notice is not a solicitation for proposals or quotes and does not represent a commitment by the Government to award a contract or expend funds. The requirement is for two wireless systems including headstages, base stations, a neuroscience console, battery chargers, dummy headstages, fiber optic cannulas, and a high-performance workstation, all aligned with Doric’s technical architecture and designated under NAICS Code 334516 for analytical laboratory instrument manufacturing. Responses must be submitted electronically by July 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time to johnsonjr@mail.nih.gov, limited to twenty pages excluding cover and executive summary, and must include the Unique Entity ID from SAM.gov, company address, point of contact details, and confirmation of authority to represent the organization. No proprietary, classified, or confidential information should be included, and responses must not contain pricing information. Small businesses are encouraged to respond, though the procurement is not designated as a small business set-aside. No contract clauses, evaluation factors, payment details, packaging requirements, or delivery timelines are provided, as this is strictly a pre-solicitation market research action. All costs associated with responding are borne by the respondents, and the Government will not be liable for any expenses incurred. The systems are intended for use in neuroscience research by the NIDA IRP’s Neuroimaging Research Branch, with performance expected at NIH facilities in Bethesda or Baltimore, Maryland.
