The Albuquerque Area Office (AAO), Indian Health Service (IHS), is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) notice for informational and planning purposes only. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation, obligation, or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research to determine if requirements can be met through a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns.


Purpose: The purpose of this notice is to identify qualified sources and their size classifications/socioeconomic status. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. It is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.


Requirements:


  • The requirement is for Laboratory Quality Control Materials
  • NAICS Code: 325413
  • NAICS Description: In Vitro Diagnostic Substances, Reagents, Test Kits and Sets

(The Government welcomes industry feedback regarding the proposed NAICS and PSC codes to ensure they accurately reflect the principal purpose of the requirement.)


  • Location: Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center (ZCCHC) in Zuni, New Mexico
  • The anticipated ordering period is one (1) base period with four (4) option one-year option periods.
  • Description of Services: Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center (ZCCHC) performs clinical laboratory testing in support of patient diagnosis and treatment. To maintain compliance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), College of American Pathologists (CAP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements, the laboratory requires commercially available quality control (QC) materials for use in daily quality assurance activities. Quality control materials are used to verify the accuracy, precision, and reliability of laboratory testing performed on Government-owned instrumentation. The Contractor shall furnish QC materials and related support services necessary to maintain uninterrupted laboratory operations.

Instructions for Respondents-Interested parties are invited to submit responses that include the following information:
