Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the 
format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being 
requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.


Solicitation number 1240BE26Q0083 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Janitorial 
Services at the Southern Research Station Headquarters (SRS HQ).


This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry 
Classification Standard Code is 561720 The small business size standard is $22.0 mil This 
acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation 
which will be considered by the agency.


Statement of Requirement
The intention of this solicitation/resultant contract is to obtain janitorial services for the 
Southern Research Station, Headquarters Building located at 200 Weaver Boulevard, Asheville, North 
Carolina. The contract will be awarded for a Base Period and four (4) twelve-month Option Periods 
by means of a Fixed Price Performance Based Service Contract.
