SPECIAL NOTICE HOUSING INSPECTION SERVICES CONTRACT The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has a requirement for Housing Inspection Services. FEMA intends to award an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with task orders issued on a firm fixed-price and cost reimbursable basis for 1 year with four (1) year option periods. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. This will be a multiple award. When the Request for Proposal is released, the method of procurement will be determined (i.e., Small Business Set-aside, Full and Open, etc.). The NAICS code is 541350. Telephone requests for this solicitation will not be accepted. The tentative issue date for this solicitation is July 2011 and the response date is anticipated to be August 2011. Issuing and closing dates are subject to change. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to award of a contract. Information regarding this registration can be found at http://www.ccr.gov/. Prospective offerors shall be required to complete Representations and Certifications online at http://orca.bpn.gov) in responding to this requirement. The Government will consider all information from responsible sources submitted in a timely fashion. Written requests will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the FEMA Recovery Branch. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.fbo.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. A draft of the Performance Work Statment is attached along with Attachments.
