Pedernales Electric Cooperative is seeking to establish master service agreements with multiple vendors to provide spill response and remediation services across its Texas service territory. The scope of work involves the cleanup of mineral oil from dielectric equipment such as transformers and capacitors, as well as the remediation of fuel, hydraulic, or chemical spills occurring at warehouses, yards, or from vehicles. (PEC) has dielectric oil-filled equipment including but not limited to transformers, capacitors, reclosers, regulators and switchgear located throughout its service territory. The mineral oil amounts vary on the type of equipment and generally contain from 5 to upwards of 6000 gallons. Occasionally spills occur from this equipment and remediation is necessary. Fuel and hydraulic spills from vehicles and/or chemical spills at warehouses or yards could occur and may require cleanup. This procurement is to establish master service agreements (MSA) with multiple Offerors for use on future projects, to be determined (if any). The anticipated contract term will be one-year with an option to renew for two, one-year terms.
