Full Description
Work will include the construction of a new storage building including: site excavation, cast-in-place concrete, rough carpentry, shop fabricated wood trusses, vapor retarders, metal exterior siding, metal screw down roofing, hollow metal man doors, door hardware and electrical.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for prospective bidders at Township building at 22689 Wible Reunion Road, Three Springs, PA 17264 on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
Bidding Documents are available at no cost via the PennBid program. Bidders shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Messages/Vendor Discussions” feature in PennBid no later than five (5) days prior to the date of receipt of bids or by email or phone call to the Engineer, CES Engineering, LLC at (814) 644-6621, (Lee Zeger); or via email at lzeger@ces-engr.com.
A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Springfield Township, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid on the form provided. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid.
Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Municipality.
Compliance with Act 127 of 2012 requiring all contractors and subcontractors to use e-Verify for verification of employment eligibility for all employees will be required. A verification form shall be provided to the City of Sunbury as a precondition of being awarded a contract.

Bids may be held by the Township for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
