SR 141 Sidewalks TAP

The City of Peachtree Corners is soliciting qualifications for a multi-phase, project-specific contract to provide engineering design and construction administration services for sidewalk and pedestrian path improvements along SR 141 (Peachtree Parkway). The project covers approximately 0.50 miles across two segments: from Engineering Drive to Scientific Drive and from Triangle Drive to Peachtree Corners Circle. The scope of work includes associated grading, curb and gutter improvements, sod replacement, safety railing installation, and Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services. Key deliverables include construction and landscaping plans, specifications, a bid cost worksheet, and necessary environmental permits from the USACE and other regulatory bodies. All work must adhere to GDOT design policies, environmental procedures, and utility accommodation standards. The selection process is a two-phase evaluation. Phase I focuses on a Statement of Qualifications, assessing the experience and workload of the project manager and key team leaders, the prime consultant's track record with similar projects, and the ability to meet the project schedule. Shortlisted finalists proceed to Phase II, where they are evaluated on their technical approach, mitigation strategies for project challenges, and past performance. The contract will remain in effect until the successful completion of the Preliminary Engineering phase. Compliance requirements include adherence to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act via E-Verify, and the Open Records Act. Qualifications are due by October 9, 2026.
