NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) Location of Work St. Anthony, NL Address: DFO Building 72 West Street St. Anthony and 28 Moores Drive St. Anthony Background Statement The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) operates a DFO/ Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) Search and Rescue (SAR) facility within the town of St. Anthony, Newfoundland. Constructed in the early 1990s as a Marine Communications and Traffic Services (MCTS) center for the CCG, but now operating as an office space and SAR facility occupied by DFO/CCG staff. This facility is occupied year round by DFO staff. SAR staff are only on site from April to December each year. Please see the Appendix A for image of property areas. Scope of Work The Contractor must keep the driveways, parking areas, trucking/loading areas, main entrances including all building exits, exterior stairwells, walkways, sidewalks, and vehicle entrances and exits at the DFO/CCG Buildings in St. Anthony, NL clear of snow and ice. Security Requirement: There is no security associated with this requirement.
