REQUIREMENT Parks Canada is seeking a heavy civil contractor to provide construction services for stabilizing the embankment at kilometer 6.0 of Highway 431 in Gros Morne National Park, NL. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to embankment excavation, installation of armor stone protection, construction of a steel pile wall, and typical highway subgrade works, complete with asphalt pavement and barrier installation. TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide further qualifications and a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings.
