Stage Drape Cleaning and Treatment Services

The Lambton Kent District School Board (LKDSB) is seeking a qualified contractor for a five-year agreement to provide professional stage drape cleaning, repair, replacement, and flame-retardant treatment services across various facilities, including approximately 23 schools. The scope of work includes site inspections, off-site cleaning using a tumbled non-immersion process, and the application of flame-retardant treatments to ensure compliance with NFPA 705 and the Ontario Fire Code. All services are provided on an as-required basis, with work orders typically requiring completion within 30 calendar days. The contractor must coordinate scheduling with the LKDSB Supervisor of Maintenance to minimize disruptions to school operations, which may necessitate work outside of regular hours.
