Stand-in Attack Weapon (SiAW) & Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile-Extended Range (AARGM-ER) System IDIQ

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation was awarded a sole-source Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, number FA8659-26-D-B002, with a ceiling of 100,000,000 dollars to support the Stand-in Attack Weapon (SiAW) and Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile Extended Range (AARGM-ER) weapon systems. Managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base, the contract utilizes a hybrid of Cost Reimbursement and Fixed Price structures. The scope of work includes hardware and software design, systems engineering, model-based systems engineering, qualification testing, aircraft integration, and repair capabilities for test assets. This effort specifically aligns with the SiAW Middle Tier Acquisition rapid prototyping phase. The initial period of performance runs from the date of award through December 3, 2026, with eight additional one-year option periods extending the total duration to December 31, 2034. Work is primarily performed in Northridge, California. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Northrop Grumman was selected as the only responsible source due to its exclusive proprietary technical data rights and the requirement for specialized classified infrastructure ranging from Secret to Top Secret-SAR. Key technical requirements include adherence to Weapons Open Systems Architecture principles, ensuring government unlimited rights to interface data, and maintaining strict cybersecurity and cyber resiliency standards.
