The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is offering for sale one (1) item of standing timber on approximately 268.6 acres within three (3) harvest areas at the Maine Army National Guard, Aroostook County, Maine. Approximately the following volumes to be harvested from within the designated block boundaries:
Butterfield Lake North Timber sale, timber is per unit any sawlogs sold on the MEARNG sliding scale– Contains within the harvest block approximately 2,049 Tons of designated Balsam Fir, 4,311 tons of Aspen, 1,401 tons of Mixed Hardwood and firewood, 3,449 tons Mixed Softwood Pulp, and 1,607 tons biomass.

INSPECTION INVITED ON TUESDAY September 22, 2026, AT 9:00 a.m. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Thursday October 8, 2026 by the Acquisition, Management, and disposal section, real estate office, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, VA, and then opened publicly.
