State Contingency Category List

The State Procurement Office of Hawaii has issued Request for Information No. 22010 to establish a State Contingency Category List aimed at enhancing disaster preparedness and response capabilities across the state, including response to hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, and other emergencies. This RFI replaces the prior solicitation RFI-15-003 and seeks detailed input from potential vendors on their ability to provide critical goods and services across thirty-eight designated categories, such as emergency staffing, recovery staffing, fuel, water, food, logistics management, and emergency equipment. Addendum 2, issued in May 2024, further extended the submission window to May 31, 2024, to ensure vendor participation in the 2024 hurricane season and to refresh the vendor list replacing the prior year’s roster.
