The work generally consists of construction of ADA accessible sidewalks and PCC drivewayapproaches in areas where those facilities do not currently exist and/or replacement of saidfacilities where the existing condition is not compliant with current ADA standards. It shall bethe Contractor’s responsibility to investigate each area and determine the extent of work,specific to each location, necessary to ensure all new concrete is in full conformance withcurrent ADA standards and all other relevant standards, codes, and ordinances. The work alsoincludes any grading, compacting, removal, replacement, relocations of any existing itemsnecessary to complete the work including, but not limited to, sign relocation, concrete/asphaltremoval and replacement, tree removal and replacement, grading, traffic control, and all othernecessary items.
