Sterling Point Recreation Center Fitness Improvements

The proposed improvements generally consist of renovating and enclosing an existing open-air patio associated with the community pool building to create a fully enclosed, climate-controlled recreational space. Work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: Building and Architectural Improvements – Enclosure and renovation of the existing patio area to provide a complete, code-compliant, climate-controlled recreational space, including modifications to the exterior building envelope; walls, windows and glazing; doors, frames and hardware; ceilings and interior finishes; roofing and waterproofing modifications; and other architectural improvements necessary for a complete and functional facility. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Improvements – HVAC systems required to condition the enclosed space; modifications and extensions to existing electrical, lighting, plumbing and related building systems; controls; and associated improvements necessary to support the proposed recreational use. Fixtures, Furnishings and Equipment – Furnishing and installation of applicable fixtures, furnishings, equipment and accessories associated with the proposed recreational space. Agency and Utility Coordination – Coordination with applicable utility providers, governing agencies, and authorities having jurisdiction as required for the proposed improvements. Permitting and Regulatory Compliance – Preparation and submittal of applicable permit documents and procurement of required building, site, and other governmental approvals necessary for construction and occupancy of the completed improvements. All improvements shall include incidental and ancillary work necessary to provide a complete, operational, and code-compliant facility, complete and in place.
