AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE2DS-27-T-1401 is a request for quotations issued by the DLA Troop Support Medical Supply Chain for the procurement of one unit of surgical stockinet, size C, open toe. The required material is composed of 66 percent cotton and 33 percent nylon and is regulated by the FDA. The item is identified by NSN 6515-01-377-1013 and is associated with NAICS code 339112. Delivery is required within five days of the order, with an original required delivery date of November 5, 2026. The shipment is designated as FOB Destination, with both inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination, specifically for the PCU John F Kennedy CVN-79 in Suffolk, Virginia. The contract mandates strict adherence to medical packaging and marking standards, specifically Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129 for material marking. Packaging must be commercial and compliant with ASTM D3951, though DLA Master List technical and quality requirements, including RP001 for palletization and RA001 for quality standards, take precedence. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and compliance with various FAR and DFARS clauses, including the Buy American Act, the Berry Amendment, and cybersecurity safeguarding for covered defense information. Quotations must be submitted via the DIBBS portal by November 9, 2026.
