The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Midstates Procurement Branch intends to issue on a sole source basis with Workplace Resource, LLC for storage and assembly space for 445 electronic adjustable corner tables, previously competed, in the area of Austin, Texas. Workplace Resource, LLC maintains a warehouse adjacent to its main facility in Austin where said tables will be stored for 3 months and assembled prior to installation. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. Based on the requirements of this synopsis, the Government intends to award with this one source, Workplace Resource, LLC, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates an award date on or about November 21, 2008.
